this will be a stunning evening spent investigating several world religions. we will be gathering in honor of our dear friend shauna shapiro and her sparkling new text "the art and science of mindfulness" – and to broaden the conversation we have invited renowned authors sylvia boorstein, lesley hazleton, and nassim assefi to join the table. additionally we will be joined by several esteemed religious scholars including rev. ebenezer ben mudede – this event is happening in the gorgeous alcove known as the sanctuary. seating very limited. a remarkable meal will be prepared and served by several of seattle's top chefs.
